Good Night

Tonight was such a great night! I went to L-Town with Meg and then we went to Paul and Alison's place.  When I got there, Paul was so excited to see me and he played with me and gave me some chips.  Then, Meg and Alison left and it was just me and Paul.  He let me cuddle up on his lap and pet me the whole time!  He is probably my third favorite person....yep, I'm sure of it. He told me how much he loved me and wished I could stay there with him. He calls me his princess in the pea and here's a picture of me.

I Love the Weekends

Hello, this is Maggie.  I just love the weekends!  It's so fun to have Curt and Meg home so I can always cuddle up on their lap.  I also get a lot of good food on the weekends.  During the week, when they're gone, I have to settle for the dry stuff they put in my bowl.  Blah.  Like, lastnight, I got some of Meg's sandwich and some Cheetos.  Aaaah, it was great!  On the weekends, I can also go outside to go to the bathroom anytime I want. Since I stay inside during the week I just have to hold it.  I've gotten pretty good at that too, my record is about 14 hours.  This morning was one of my favorite mornings. I just stretched out and Curt and Meg scratched my ears and my back, it felt wonderful! I think Duke and Jada probably like to weekends too because they get to be inside. They spend the weeks outside and Duke has been spending his, lately, on the chain.  That poor sap, I just look at him through the window and think, "Why can't you just stay in the yard."  Oh well, at least it's not me out there.

Sprucing Things Up

Hi, this is Jada...the smart one. So I was walking around the back yard today and realized that, with all this snow, it's pretty bland and boring out there. Duke has been on the chain lately because, despite my warnings, he's gotten out of the yard a lot lately. I keep telling him that there's nothing that great on the outside anyway and Curt and Meg sure worry about him, especially Meg. There was a big spool of green ribbon sitting on the dryer in the laundry room so I took it out to Duke on the patio. I figured it would give him something to do and also spruce up the place a bit with some nice color. He did a real nice job of dispersing it around the patio table and chairs, definitely an improvement. I'll look around in the laundry room tomorrow and see if there is anything else I can take out to him.

What a Wonderful Day!

Hello, this is Duke. I am a big brown Boxer. I had the most wonderful day today! I especially loved the part when Megan came home so I could come in the house (it sure is freezing cold outside). So I especially like to go into the laundry room and make a mess. Then Curtis fed all of us (Me, Jada, and Maggie) some leftover ham for dinner. It tasted so good, unlike that other crap that they give us morning and night day in and day out. After that I just laid down by the fireplace where there was a fire and I took a good long nap and it was so warm! I hope that tomorrow is exactly like today only better.

A Dog's Day

Hello, This is Maggie. I'm a Mini Schnauzer. Don't ask me how I'm able to type on the computer. I just wanted to say that I had a great day. I've been able to stay inside all day today! It's winter and it's really cold outside! I snuggle up to Curtis or Megan when they're sitting on the couch and it's wonderful!
